How can you lose fat faster with building lean muscle? I thought you just had to do cardio? What if I told you, you could do both? Read on...
Now, what's the #1 problem most of us face when it comes to exercise? Not having enough time. Contrary to the Rolling Stones, time, time, time is JUST NOT on our side! Nowadays, life is much more busier than ever. Parenting, family obligations, school, sports, work, business, etc.
So, we have three situations that we have to put together and come up with a solution in order to achieve that goal to lose fat faster:
Situation #1. You have to build lean muscle for better results with fat loss and weight loss.
Situation #2. You have to find time to exercise.
Situation #3. You want to lose fat faster, lose weight, and get toned muscle.
What would be the solution?
I'll tell you what has worked for me in the past, and even currently, superset weight training.
With doing "supersets" with your weight training workouts, you have just provided a solution to all of those situations above rolled up into one package!
Supersetting is where you alternate between two different weight training exercises, doing a set per exercise....but WITHOUT rest. For example, you would do 10 repetitions of dumbbell arm curls, then without resting, go and do 10 repitions of leg squats, and repeat this for 3-4 sets of 10 each.
The intensity of this type of workout is great! Every time I superset, I get such a powerful workout....and feel so energized after my workout!
The great thing about supersets is that you combine both cardio and weight training all wrapped into one. The intensity of this type of workout is matched up with the intensity of a good cardio workout!
You'll boost your metabolism, improve heart health with the cardio aspect of supersetting, get rid of body fat and tone your muscles, and do so all in a 30 minute or less workout!
I'm telling you guys, you have to give this a try here. I always ignored this type of workout in the beginning, until I tried it once when I did a superset between military barbell press and cable rows....I've been hooked ever since!!

Stupid Dallas Freaking Cowboys, and stupid mistakes by the Eagles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, hopefully that game doesn't dictate what it's going to be like for the rest of the season. I just can't handle another season of mediocrity by this team!! :(
