Outer Banks Health & Fitness Expo 2009 accepting booth reservations

The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce, The Outer Banks Hospital, Outer Banks Sentinel, Vitamin Water and Minute Maid Juices will host the 13th annual Outer Banks Health and Fitness Expo.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, May 2, it will be held at the First Flight Middle School in Kill Devil Hills.

Theme for this year's show is "Spring Into Action - Take Charge of Your Health." New focuses will be placed on preventive health care and products, allergies, skin care, new cancer resources in the area, and more! There will be a variety of free and low cost health screenings, samples of health care products, exhibits and displays by area businesses, fitness centers, non-profit and government groups.

More than 70 exhibits are expected. Booth spaces – 8 x 10 – are available at $175 for Chamber members, $275 for non-members. A special non-profit rate of $75 is available to 501 (c)(3) organizations.

Booth space rental includes professional draperies, one 6 ft. table, 2 chairs, signage and mention in show marketing materials. The show will be marketed through newspaper articles, advertising, email list servers, and a special health insert in the Outer Banks Sentinel.

Vendors will include all aspects of health and fitness from vitamin supplements, cosmetics, fitness centers, exercise classes, clothing, doctors, dentists, hearing and vision specialists, non-profit support groups, air purification systems, and all types of products and services which support a healty lifestyle. There will be a number of free health screenings available throughout the day.
