A survey shows half of women not living healthy lifestyle

Many women in Britain do not eat well or exercise enough, despite proven benefits to doing so.
The Natural Health Advisory Service helps women to a healthy lifestyle through good nutrition and now reports on a survey to see what women in Britain are actually doing to this end. They looked at 1,200 women aged from 35 to 65 years and learned that only a quarter eat at least five portions of fruit and vegetables a day. Around a half ate oily fish at least once a week and around one in five took little or no exercise (compared to about the same number exercising most days in the week).

Eating little or no oily fish was linked to low energy levels and over 70 per cent of those taking little or no exercise suffered symptoms like migraine, bowel problems, anxiety and depression. On the other hand, very healthy women who ate oily fish, fruit and vegetables and took lots of exercise reported higher libido than those who didn't follow a healthy lifestyle, as well as more energy and less pain. So a healthy lifestyle does seem to pay off. it will also help protect women from heart disease and disability in later life.
