The Definitions of Health and Healthy

Health- 1. Physical and mental well-being; Freedom from disease, pain, or defect; normalcy of physical and mental functions; soundness 2. condition of body or mind [ good or bad health] 3. a wish for a person's health and happiness 4. soundness or vitality, as of a society or culture

Healthy- 1. Having a good health; well; sound 2. showing or resulting from good health ( a healthy color) 3. Healthful

I thought I would talk about the meanings for the words health and healthy. Look at the first meaning of the definition of health than look at the first and second meaning of the definition of healthy.

I believe that we have gotten so far from the two meanings of these words. We've accepted being sick as normal. We've began thinking that pain and sickness is just a part of our daily lives and we just learn to live with it.

I believe that once we understand what the true meanings of the words health and healthy we can stop accepting being unhealthy as normal because it is absolutely not.
