Stool checks the content and meaning - a medical examination, including routine laboratory testing of stool 7, on behalf of the results of the clinical significance varies.

1, stool color

4, fecal occult blood

Normal reference value: negative.

Clinical significance: positive, found in the gastrointestinal tract cancer, typhoid fever, ulcer disease, such as liver cirrhosis caused by gastrointestinal bleeding.

5, fecal bile

Normal reference value: negative.

Clinical significance: positive, seen in hemolytic jaundice and liver jaundice, and so on.

6, fecal bilirubin

Normal reference value: negative.

Clinical significance: positive, seen in hemolytic jaundice, obstructive jaundice, and so on.

7, stool culture to increase sensitivity

Normal reference value: negative (no bacteria).

Clinical significance: positive, bacillary dysentery seen, typhoid, intestinal tuberculosis, acute and chronic enteritis, and so on. At the same time, the drug can be sensitive to the choice of effective antibiotics.
