Psychic Growth Following Trauma

How have you managed the traumatic stress in your life? Traumatic stressors could include disasters such as the fires in California or any of the floods that have hit the United States in the last few years.

Other sources of traumatic stress are the

  1. loss of a loved one
  2. chronic or acute ailments
  3. violent or abusive crime
  4. accident or injury
  5. financial hardship
  6. career or location change/move
  7. changes in family responsibility
  8. divorce
  9. retirement
  10. combat
  11. or others.
