Easy Healthy Omelet Recipe

Good morning guys! I hope this post is getting to you before you had your breakfast because I just found a terrific healthy omelet recipe that is unbelievably easy to prepare and tastes very good.

I found the following recipe in MUSCLEMAG magazine:

It's called the "Ziploc Omelet".....you'll find out why below....

Ingredients:
1. Ziploc freezer bag
2. 4 egg whites (you don't want to eat the yolk as this is the unhealthy part of an egg)
3. 1/2 cup of chopped vegetables of your choice. (Onions, green peppers, mushrooms, salsa, etc.)

Instructions:
Separate four eggs (large or extra large) and pour egg whites into a Ziploc bag. Shake to combine. Add a variety of ingredients, sucha as onion, green pepper, tomato or salsa to the egg whites. Make sure to squeeze all the air out of the bag, and zip it up. Place bag in rolling, boiling water for exactly 13 minutes. You can usually cook six to eight omelets in a large pot. For more, make another pot of boiling water. Open the bag and the omelet will rout easily. Nice served with fresh fruit.

Nutritional:
101 calories
15g protein
0.5g fat
6.5g carbohydrates

I keep discovering cool things to do with eggs! Awhile ago I found out how to boil eggs and peel eggs much more easier. I put up a post and video about it

Remember, getting plenty of protein daily will ensure fat loss and muscle gain. So make sure you are getting a ton of protein daily from food sources and supplement form.
