10 Ways To Lose Weight On A Budget

You want to lose weight, BUT, it could end up costing you an arm and a leg! Spring water, gym memberships, diet pills, exercise gear, expensive healthy foods, and on, and on!! How can you lose weight in today's economy??!!!

Here are 10 ways to lose weight on a budget:

1. Exercise at home: Gym memberships are getting more and more expensive nowadays. Not to mention, they are becoming more and more of a social gathering than a place for people to reach their health and fitness goals! Exercising at home is a much more peaceful and a MUCH MORE INEXPENSIVE alternative to working out at the gym.

2. Buy frozen vegetables: Instead of getting the fresh veggies, buy frozen. They are actually more healthier, and way more inexpensive.

3. Get a water filter: Why spend a fortune on spring water? Simply purchase a water filter for your home, or just simply drink plan ol' tap water. Check with your water department for the health qualities of your towns water system. Think about it, you have to drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water daily.......that's a lot of money you'll be spending on spring water!

4. Old t-shirts and sweatpants will do: Why do you need the latest fad exercise clothes and/or sneakers? Just pull out those old baggy sweatpants and that ripped up t-shirt and get to work!

5. Do not get a fad diet plan: Please, for the love of the good Lord above, do not fall for those popular fad diets. Those types of diets usually fall under the: "low carb", "low fat", "because Oprah did it", "because Beyonce did it", "because Rachel Ray did it", types of diet programs! They are unhealthy and ineffective. If you need an easy, customized, and very effective diet program, I've used it myself and have experienced tremendous results. I have a personal review of it at . Also, it's affordable at a ONE TIME cost of $39 instead of the hundreds you'll shell out on fad diet programs!

6. Avoid diet meal plans: Simply put....they are unhealthy (processed, and more), and cost way more than buying normal foods (contrary to what they say on those commercials)!

7. Plan before you begin: Knowing exactly what you want to do with your goals to lose weight before you begin, will help you save plenty of money down the line.

8. Do not buy diet pills: They do not work (they simply help you get rid of water weight....which you'll regain later), and they are incredibly expensive!

9. You don't need expensive equipment: If you are working out at home, you don't need to purchase a full gym setup! You can use and your very own body weight!

10. Eat the same meals daily: I know, I know, it's boring! However, by eating the same types of meals daily until you reach your goals, not only will you have a greater chance of losing weight fast, but you'll also save money, and will have an easier time sticking to your diet plan.

BONUS TIP: Buy frozen chicken breast: Chicken breast is essential to lose weight and build muscle, primarily due to the protein. However, they are freaking expensive! You can save money by buying frozen chicken breast in bulk! Usually they are found in bulk stores such as BJ's, Sam's Club, etc.

Those are some easy ways to lose weight on a budget!

Good luck, and I hope you achieve your goals this New Year!
