Lean Cuisine Recalled - 450 TONS!

If you follow the Lean Cuisine meal plan, there is a possibility that your food may be on the recall list. According to , there is 450 tons of Lean cuisine meals being recalled.

“Reports of small chunks of blue plastic in Lean Cuisine brand frozen chicken dinners have led Nestle Prepared Foods Co. to recall 900,000 pounds worth of meals.

The frozen dinners were distributed nationwide, and at least one person has reported an injury, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service…”

On a side note....what exactly is wrong with eating normal food? Why spend a fortune on expensive meal plans, when you can purchase even healthier foods.....for less? Is it because the meals are already prepared and figured out nutritional wise? Well, if that be the case, why not just get a......and buy your own food?

Just yesterday I went to the market and did some quick food shopping (not major food shopping), and spent around $40 and got plenty of healthy nutritious food to last my family of 4 for at least 5 days!! What did I get? Fruits, frozen vegetables, gallon of fat free milk, oatmeal, chicken breast, cream of wheat for the kids (they love some good ol' cream of wheat!), 4 pack of tuna, 10 yogurts, and a partridge and a pear tree......okay, I'm sorry, I'm starting to get in the Holiday spirit...lol.

But seriously though, save your money and buy your own healthy foods.

Oh yeah, when you click the ABC link above, check out the comments below....it seems as if I'm not the only one feeling that you should stay away from pre-prepared foods!
